Lifestyle services are valuable services that our caregivers provide. Cleaning and maintaining their homes helps promote a sense of accomplishment and pride— a clean home indicates and promotes a healthy lifestyle and environment.
Errands
No matter the age, things outside of home still need to be done. Our caregivers can pick up prescriptions, run to the store, pick up dry cleaning, and most anything else that our client requires.
Grocery shopping
Grocery shopping can be a long and strenuous process—from getting in and out of the car to pushing the cart around. Our Caregivers help to ensure that the proper nutritious foods are being purchased for nutritional purposes.
Meal preparation
Seniors many times do not have the opportunity to eat a well-balanced meal. Our caregiver can prepare a hot, delicious, nutritious meal. This service gives our clients the opportunity to eat the nutritious meals they need to enjoy healthier living.
Housekeeping (light)
Let us clean the kitchen sink, appliances, counter tops, and cupboards; We can clean the bathroom showers, tubs, and toilets; we can vacuum the floor, dust the shelves, empty the trash, make the beds and straighten the rooms!
Kitchen Cleaning
Clean kitchens are healthy kitchen. Bacteria found in raw foods (e-coli, salmonella) can run rampant in a kitchen that is unclean and not sanitized. Our caregivers can ensure the counter tops, dishes, pots and pans, floors, and cooking appliances are clean and safe.
Laundry
Doing the laundry can be all day events; our caregivers will wash, dry, fold, iron, and put away the clothing so you do not have to!
Change linens
There thing better than getting into fresh, clean sheets. Especially for the ill or bed bound, putting clean linens on the bed can ensure comfort and reduce the chances of developing bedsores.
Bathroom maintenance
Like the kitchen, the cleanliness of a bathroom is essential to the health of the person(s) using it. Caregivers can clean the tub, sink, shower, and sanitize the toilet for optimum health benefits.
Assistance with dressing
Those that have had debilitating illnesses, surgeries, or permanent movement problems may have problems performing an essential daily task—getting dressed. Our caregivers can help getting dressed in or out of bed.
Hair care
Shampooing and styling one’s hair can make a person feel and look good. Our caregivers can help their clients shampoo their hair in a bath, shower, or sink—and also help dry and style it to their preference. |

Personal care services are some of the most important home health tasks our caregivers are prepared to perform—and of course, will perform with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity.
Personal hygiene assistance
One’s personal hygiene is not only important to their comfort, it is important to their health. Our caregivers are specially trained in conducting routine personal hygiene including teeth and denture care and bathing assistance.
Routine transfer assistance
When someone is unable to get around on their own, our caregivers are able to help them move from the bed to a chair and vice versa. At All For You Health Care our staff is trained in proper body mechanics to avoid injury to our clients, as well as trained in using a Hoyer lift and a Gait belt.
Bed positioning
Placing a person into a correct posture position is essential to keep the body’s many systems functional. It helps to eliminate pressure on bony areas and joints, which can cause bedsores. Caregivers are specially trained to not only position bed-bound clients correctly, but to watch for pressure sores and other issues that may be caused by the situation.
Light exercise
Staying physically active is an important part of staying healthy. From taking walks, gardening, swimming, and dancing, our caregivers can incorporate these exercises into their daily visits.
Dementia and Alzheimer's
Our caregivers are more than willing and able to work with those with Alzheimer’s disease or any other dementia. Whether you need hospice relief care, respite care, or full-fledged assistance our caregivers are there.
Bathroom Assistance
Using the bathroom is a highly personal and sensitive need that affects many seniors, the disabled and small children. It is a service that our caregivers provide with the utmost sensitivity and care. Our caregivers are trained to assist with all toileting needs from minimal assistance to full assistance including incontinence care.
Transportation
Whether it’s a hospital pickup, visiting a friend, a shopping trip, or a regular doctor’s appointment, our caregivers can provide the transportation needed to complete these tasks, therefore allowing those in need to retain their independent lifestyles.
Bathing and showering
Bathing or Showering refreshes the spirit, renews the soul and provides relaxation while cleansing the skin and stimulating circulation. Our caregivers can do whatever is needed to provide this necessary home health related service. Whether it is preparing the room for a bath, assisting with the transfer into the tub, staying nearby in case of an emergency, helping with a partial bath, or providing a full bed bath—our caregivers are trained and sensitive to this need.

All For You Health Care home companions are caregivers who have the unique opportunity to be a lifeline and friend to those that are homebound or in need of a little help around their home. Having a companion in the home allows our clients to maintain the lifestyles to which they are accustomed to and maintain a general independence they would be otherwise be unable.
Conversation and Companionship
Whether it is conversation and company, playing cards, reading to each other, or just eating a meal together, having someone to sit by your side and visit with can help make for a happier, healthier life.
Caregiver relief
Also known as “respite care”, our caregivers can provide a break for family members who are taking care of their loved ones. Whether you need to run errands, go shopping or just need a break, our caregivers can give you some much needed downtime.
Appointments
Coordinating medical and other appointments can be time consuming, not to mention tricky, for seniors and busy moms with ill children. Our staff can arrange and track these appointments for you.
Medication reminders
While our caregivers cannot administer medications they can be an “alarm clock” for you or your loved one to take medications at the right time.
Wake-up
If you or your loved one needs help getting up and around in the morning, our caregivers can help with getting out of bed, getting dressed, and get breakfast going.
Bedtime
Just like the wake-up, our caregivers can provide specialized turndown assistance. They can get the bed ready, help with getting into bed, tucking in; making sure the room is at the right temperature, making sure there is an ample amount of fluids by the night stand.
Prepare grocery list
Caregivers not only prepare nutritious meals, they help prepare grocery lists as well. This includes clipping coupons, shopping through the grocery advertisements for the best deals, checking on the food supplies in the home, and disposing of old or spoiled food.
Monitor diet and eating
Some studies show that more than half of seniors living at home are either undernourished or malnourished. Causes vary from getting too little food to not eating the proper nutrients or to food not absorbing into the body to depression. Our caregivers can help prevent this extremely dangerous problem by monitoring their food and fluid intake, helping to or preparing nutritious meals, or even helping those that have a hard time feeding themselves.
Plan activities
Caregivers can help by plan and assist activities so you or your loved one can maintain independence, keep their minds active and have a little fun! Caregivers can arrange for friend and family visits, play dates for the kids, trips to the zoo, shopping outings, crafting and scrap booking activities, even help plan their client’s next vacation!
Care for houseplants
Houseplants can help create a lush and loving habitat right at home. Many seniors experience depression, helplessness and boredom, our caregivers can help you or your loved one nurture and care for plants; studies have shown that plants help to decrease depression while increasing appetite and an “overall happy quotient.”
Report any change in condition
One of the main reasons for having a caregiver in the home is to make sure that the person that they are taking care of is safe and secure. Our caregivers are trained to watch for and act quickly on what is called a “change in condition”, which means anything that appears out of the ordinary for that particular person. You can rest assured that these changes WILL NOT be ignored or brushed under a rug and that the appropriate person will be notified.
Maintain a safe environment
Safety is a number one concern for both our clients and our caregivers. One main mission for the caregivers is to ensure that the home is safe for their clients and for anyone else who enters it. They can clear walkways and pathways, move cording, check electrical cords and wires, and observe for other safety hazards.
Receive and organize bills/letters
If you or your loved one is having problems remembering to pay the bills, our caregivers can receive and organize the mail so important bills and letters can be taken care of. They will even walk them to the mailbox for you!
